Dark Souls & Other Souls-Likes

First 2 are kinda easy, I think bosses people have reported having trouble with are Vicar Amelia and Ebrietas definitely, I've heard some people have issues with Blood Starved Beast which I never got since I can take him down without getting hit.

Chalice dungeons, especially the later ones can be a challenge, the defiled chalice dungeon is particularly tough and don't get me started on Abhorrent Beast.

Hell in the DLC Ludwig is a ***, I haven't gone back and tried him for a while.

The one with the weird metal tray in the middle of the floor? If that's the one you kinda go there later and get grabbed when you have an item that you won't have right now. I think the only other one is the one that grabs you and takes you to the DLC area.

Then there's the enemy you have to get killed by to get to the prison area ahead of time and they're very good at killing you so who knows, you might unlock it naturally without trying.

Everyone's experience with bosses is different.

I had trouble with Gascoigne till I learned how to parry > visceral, lol. Then I killed him on my first try afterwards.

BSB was a nightmare because if you slip once at the last phase, you're pretty much screwed. I got him to the last phase on my first try, but stuck with him for good 2 hours or so afterwards (ran out of vials and antidotes).

Amelia's charge projectile move gave me trouble till I learned how to dodge it.

Nothing else gave me that much trouble tbh, perhaps because as I went through the game I had already become a better player. I beat all DLC bosses first try (except the optional one, didn't take that many tries though) on NG+1, even though I admit that my character was pretty overleveld and could tank a few hits. I went back and did all bosses again on an average character in NG difficulty, had to learn the fights properly lol.

I am actually 100% unspoiled going into that, as far as I know I have never even seen footage of that one. Excite!

I'm excited for that too! I've never played DeS, but love DaS and DaS2. Hopefully Woolie isn't playing after watching him play DaS2 and Bloodborne, he is the worst at souls games.

Is there anyone out here that can perhaps help me get through a NG+ area in DS2?

I need to kill the tigers in the Ivory king DLC (Frigid Outskirts) and the NPCs are just no help at all.

I'm on a PS3 and my level is 305 which is the second to last soul memory there is.

Early reviews are out and it got a 90 on Metacritic, so it looks like another hit for From.

It's not early reviews so much as the games been out for nearly two weeks in Japan.

Enjoy 2 a lot more than 1 so far. Sadly I have a different version than Woolie played so things aren't all in the same places so my reference is a bit off.

If by Woolie, you mean Super Best Friends Woolie, then I hope you aren't using that playthrough as a reference, it was a train wreck. Woolie is terrible at souls games. Would have been better if Pat played, and thankfully we got Pat to finish the Bloodborne DLC because Woolie playing Bloodborne was just as bad as DSII.
