Also, fyi, fourth pic from top looks like Hydra, but link says it's Tiamat o.O

Hydra is a species not a name of a specific creature. So it's most likely that FF14's version of Tiamat will be a hydra rather then a wyrm like in FF11. Actually in past games wasn't Tiamat a hydra like creature?

Everyone get in beta who got the game before the beta start. Really it's not much of a beta it just putting all the char from old client to the new and you allow to play before the release of ffxiv 2.0 around Q1 of 2013.

This roadmap explains the release date, its an outdated picture but only in the sense that the E3 trailer has been pushed back to august, everything else is the same.

Hopefully they let us turn things on and off unlike now... theres lot of stuff (map, leve quest, exp, + they are adding those dots, gil jobs next to names, and monster's target) that I just don't need to see 24/7. The buffs being on the right hand side of the party list will be problematic too since I keep my party list similar to XIs after 7 years of looking for it there. I'm likeing that it shortens the last name to an initial though for group chat.

They're supporting user generated UIs, if that helps.
