Hmm. Seeing as Odin is dead set on destroying Alexander, piercing PD isn't such an outlandish idea. Or perhaps his full dispel that already takes your food would extend to PD... Anyway, new 99 Valkyrie fork?

Gungnir is the weapon that should drop from Odin :(

Greetings!

Similar to Limbus, the basic idea behind this expansion is the introduction of a higher-tier boss battle, so we will only be adding this one new battlefield to Einherjar.

In regards to the drop rates, while it’s kind of difficult to compare and contrast drop rates between different content due to there being a variety of elements which affects the balancing, the fundamental system is the same as the original Einherjar, so hopefully this will help you gauge the drops.

The amount of ampoules required to purchase the items for feathers has not been set very high. We are currently planning to make it so they can be purchased with the amount of ampoules received for clearing the respective wing of the feather you wish to buy. To be a bit more specific, the planned costs are as follows: wing 1=1000, wing 2=2000, wing 3=3000 ampoules.

While I am happy that Einherjar will get some use again the fact that there is only one new chamber is pretty meh. Would it really have been that much work to make three new chambers you can access once you have all feathers, and a KI?

I'm not too heartbroken. I'm good on my Harpy/Ironclad/B-Rex reskin quota.

Odin starts casting Deathga.
Kenrusai starts casting stun.
Odin resists the effects of the spell.

Seriously though, it'a either *** like that to counter PD, or you can you use PD. Either way seems f'in ***.

Now for new players that dont have any ichor(Ampoules of Therion Ichor so I'm calling it ichor) have to do at least 2 runs of regular einherjar to even access wing 1 of neo-einherjar because regular einherjar tier I is 960 ichor as a reward. This will definately force players into doing regular einherjar as well.

Sad part about this is that no way in hell am I going to use my ichor unless the reward of ichor is greater because getting to 100k (im halfway there) for mythic part is just time comsuming due to the fact that there is a 72 hour enter period.

Wonder if SE will lower this....

they just need to lower Etry times requirements. that's all there is to it. It makes no sense to wait 72 hours for it when other events have been lowered already.

Even if they did, they would "Barance" it by lowering drop rates to the floor.

So wait... you spend amps to buy an item to obtain feathers which you must then trade to a spot on the floor and the best you are assured is 1 random feather when you still need all 9 for Odin?

You would be surprised. 6 months from now 14 will be in a state ready for the general user. People will start to move to 14. 11 is dying, is stale and getting to the point of being uninteresting. They need to add a new expansion or something radical to that extent to get the energy and vibe levels of the end user high again. Re-feeding the user with the same things just isnt the way forward. Its as one member said a filler. How long can you add fillers before the player gets bored?

The public perception of XIV is the game has flatlined. Only the most ardent players even know whats going on in the game, and 2.0 isn't going to bring in the masses. Sure, some XI players will make the switch, but XIV's window has been closed by the competition. Star Wars had a great launch, came back down to earth a little, but will continue to get stronger. 6 months from now XIV might be ready for the general user, but it will never run down Star Wars, and will never see the success that XI did.
