Nicander's necklace and a few accessories and Holy Waters have a high rate of removing doom, it's usually not an issue. RIP if you didn't buy one before the Asura Price Hike from last month's ambuscade. Can just have your PLD and BRD sub WHM and spam Cursna with the appropriate set.

Oh yeah, I had observed certain behavior by Shinryu with his AI. Sometimes he's normal and does moves randomly, other times he gets stuck in a continuous loop of the same move 5+ times in a row, and it can be ultra annoying. Like sometimes he will open his wings and keep them open for like 3+minutes, allowing for max DPS. Then another time he'll only open his wings for 10 seconds max, then close them, which prolongs the fight. Other times he'll spam Atomic Ray and force me to Panacea. Then there's the times he does nothing but Mighty Guard for 4 minutes straight and you can't deal a lot of damage to him. And what you mentioned, spamming Supernova. Seems like he enjoys waiting until you remove Doom and this makes him use it more. And more. And then when you wait 5 seconds before removing it, he uses Cataclysmic Vortex instead for 1900 damage, forcing you to decide how you want to die. Wait until he decides to do Terror for 15 seconds, then when that wears off, stun auto attack, followed by Cataclysmic Vortex, then stun again and you wipe at 1%. Fun times.
