What happens when two players use the same kind of geo bubble on a mob? Does the last one used take priority? Or the strongest potency? (Ie: player1 uses bog geo-failty, indi-fraily, player2 uses bolster geo-frailty)

Haven't used Father Time but the B path weapons are not that effective for 2h jobs.
Good for jobs like Cor that can use the multi-attack to fire off more leadens.
But for 2h jobs the WS dmg drops off too much to make them worthwhile unless in very specialised circumstances.
Eg you're spamming hybrid WS on a target that can't resist it meaning the WS dmg is very similar regardless of weapon and you just get more WSs with more multi-attack as a result.
For fights like Mboze, no, use a stronger weapon.

Well what's funny is I asked about Path C that has +15% WSD, but people have only made Path B cause that was the niche I guess? idk
Anyway, time for another dumb question:
Does gear that enhances double attack or triple attack damage effect multi attacks from the spells Temper and Temper II?
For instance. Mandau R15 has +10% Triple Attack damage. I assume it only works with "real" Triple Attacks, since Temper is technically its own effect, right? Or are the spell variants adding onto a flat rate that is real or what?

I'm sure this is a dumb question and the answer is yes, but do you get the 15% JA Haste from LR as /DRK?

Temper is just as much Double Attack as Fighters Roll. Temper II is normal Triple attack. They're not OAT or a unique version of multi attack, so triple attack damage gear will work with it

I made Father Time path C around the time when Dyna Wave 3 was still new. It's still BiS for Drain Potency (but yes, there are free alternatives like Dacnomania, and Misanthropy, each of which provide Drain Potency+20 vs Father Time's +25). My rationale at the time was a few reasons combined. It enabled me to full-time Father Time in Dynamis-Divergence, while also doing Drain 3 at will, for Max HP boosts while not having to worry about TP loss. (I doubt you'd full-time Dacnomania, or Misanthropy, but I guess you certainly could).
Obviously, the WSD+15% was a boon, before Nyame existed and especially so when PDL traits and gear became available. The +3% attack bonus is ~120 attack at 4000 HP, and if you're able to get 9999 HP from Drain 3 (which lasts 3 minutes) your attack boost is now about +300 attack. If the pDIF ratio or enemy defense rating is in your favor, the WSD+15% and +300 Attack Buff probably puts you in a better position to take advantage of PDL gear and Aria of Passion.
However, unfortunately, I have not been able to test it more recently as my primary DPS weapon. It's probably worth testing again since I got Nyame R30 a while ago, and we do have some additional sources of PDL (Prime Horn, Ephramad, DRK AF+3, etc).
Perhaps a more frequent Dark-Knight-Enjoyer has already done these tests or has recorded some anecdotal observations?

Just wanted to clarify, though you may already know: this is only for 2h weapons.

Why does Blade:Chi hit so hard when the fTP and modifiers are relatively low?

All the hybrids are radickulous
They count WSD twice and get every bonus from str, attack, pdl, modifers, and mab
By K123 2025-03-30 18:52:56
Blade To has higher fTP and modifiers, but hits weaker. This is hybrid too, no? I guess it is 1hit vs 2hit?
Feels silly that it is the best Katana WS generally when it is an early one. Not that the Savage Blade situation is any better.

Mob resist ice / Weak to earth ?
To is single(2) hit, Chi is double(3)
By K123 2025-03-30 19:01:03
So the only way for Blade: Hi to do more damage than Chi is if the mob is resistant to the earth damage?
I haven't got TP bonus offhand, but it seems savage blade average is about 29k and Chi is 39k with trust buffs vs Locus Colibri (Naegling vs Aeonic). Neither are great since they don't sc but Shun does bad damage (10-15k). Don't think anything else is going to beat the Chi damage though.

Why no one likes ninja. Naegling is better than all the katana ws.

I imagine you're just bot-spamming the same WS over and over forever, but Chi can absolutely SC if you're capable of using more than 1 WS.

You can setup some nice SC paths with Chi too.
Blade: Chi > Blade: Retsu > Distortion > Blade: Ten > Darkness > Blade: Metsu(or Hi) > Darkness.
Blade: Chi > Blade: To > Detonation > Blade: Ei > Gravitation > Blade: Kamu > Fragmentation > Blade: Shun > Light > Blade: Shun > Radiance.
Of course, that's self SC effort maxing. ;-; Nobody wants to do that!
By K123 2025-03-31 15:00:44
By roughly what % would Opheus sash increase Chi damage right next to the mob? I'm guessing it wouldn't be 115% the damage but less?

If you say Chi does ~39k, thats like 15k physical and 25k earth damage so something like 15% more of 25k. You'll bump chi to 43k. maybe.
Assuming a lot of MAB like nyame B is in your chi set. If you have less mab for the "earth hit" then the orph will add even less.
+4k at worst +6k at best

Is there a way to get Windower logs to have time stamp in them? I believe you just turn on timestamps in the client? I know my logs have timestamps, so it can be done. Pretty sure you just enable it in the client.

Check your logger addon folder, in the data folder the xml has a setting for timestamps: set it to true.
<AddTimestamp>true</AddTimestamp>

Posted this in the wrong thread earlier:
For the Other merit category, I have 5 Crit+, 4 Enemy Crit -, and 1 SIRD merit.
I remember my rationale at the time (probably more than a decade ago) was that enemy crit rate floors at 1% and they rarely have enough dDex to get off that floor. Is this still valid?
Even if the last Enemy Crit- merit doesn't do anything, the SIRD merit similarly isn't doing anything for me.

Well, like always it'd depend on what job you're on and what you're fighting.
Remember that certain weaponskills, including plenty of monster moves, have, "Chance of Critical Hit varies with TP." Anything you fight in a big group, then, that has such WSes, will always cap the crit rate of that WS for whatever its TP bonus to crit rate is, regardless of dDex.
Take Disjoined Galka for instance...
He has access to Rampage. At 3000 TP Rampage will have a 40% critical rate.
If you don't need SIRD at all, go all in on the enemy crit- baybeeeeeee

PDL ring. Once you go PDL you don't go back.
