Random Question thread (FFXI related)

Since I'm assuming they changed Odin's Chamber this update, does the person bringing everyone in need to have all 9 feathers? I know everyone else needs 3, just wasn't sure about the one breaking the lamp.
EDIT: Finally found my answer. Person entering needs all 9. Sad day. No, we did it today and everyone (including the person breaking lamp) only needs 3, one from each tier.

Awesome, can just do T3-> buy t1 and 2 -> odin -> repeat
As you'll get more ichor than what it costs to buy t1 and 2 from the t3 and odin clears

This is only kind-of an FFXI question, more of an equipment in general question I guess (dunno if we have any medieval re-enactment types on these forums). I was looking at my stearc subligar today and was wondering...
What is the point of these belt things? They aren't connected to panty portion at all, and the bottom belt thing isn't connected to the top. Is it seriously just wearing belts on your legs? Is it a fashion thing or is there some utility to it?

Well if it's any consolation I do think Ig-alima and Botulus Rex tend to have decent drop rates among other VW mobs, this has remained true for me I'm not sure if anyone else can testify, though.
By no means would anyone go 0/200+ on the scythe~ you'll get it pretty fast :)

Update: Day after you told me this, not only did I get Wroth on the very first Ig pop, but I got Wroth on the very next pop as well. I thought of this thread instantly and was mildly amused. LoL.

Curiously when people do synergy augments on ABJ gear... I know hitting the exact power level requested (eg: 35 water) is ideal but you can still get smooth synergizing withing 1-3 points of the target (eg 32-38).
My question is, "To get the absolute best shot at HQ augments is it also necessary to use operate furnace for safety lever to remove impurities to 0?"

I registered my character, verified her by buying the whole crystal off the AH, yadda yadda. I then went and connected to guildworks.
My question is: Why don't my empyrean weapons display?

if you have guildwork running on your copy of ffxi. you have to do

There are 3 Rusks and 3 Macarons... Sugar Rusk, Chocolate Rusk, Coconut Rusk, Cherry Macaron, Coffee Macaron, and Kitron Macaron.
I think that's the supposed hierarchy of skill up, with Kitron on top. I forget, though...maybe Rusks are only for HQ or avoiding breaks or something, I don't remember...you can read on the comments on each page maybe. :/

I recently got myself an Adamas and went to the following page to reference the enhancement to Reprisal:

I tried out it out and while I did notice my block rate go up, the duration didn't seem to be halved at all. I've only tried casting Reprisal while idle and while NMs and grunts in campaign battles to test its duration.
Does anyone know under what condition Reprisal's duration is halved (higher lvl NMs, blocking a certain number of hits with Reprisal active, etc.)?
