Would I be able to solo Sinister Reign as a decently geared BLU with a crappy WHM mule?

I soloed SR with just BLU. Sudden Lunge is your best friend there. Also MEVA is your 2nd best friend there, but BLU has only good meva in SU3 gear, which is not good for TP, so you would need to just have good reaction and swap it for TP specific TP moves. That being said I soloed it without MEVA.

In light of the potpourri update, which furniture gives the strongest EXP bonus? Is it the 10% from Vana Clock? It's minor... but over the course of 300,000 merits 1-2% will add up.

Discounting the jp only item that gives 15% https://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Moss_Gr._Grisaille https://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Murrey_Grisaille
Pretty sure clock is best. I know some non jps tried to get those others... and it was pretty hard just buying the real item and then when they got it they still didn't get the code for the ig item.

didn't realize they were changing potpourri before now that's kind of neet I guess

Merits will 'auto charge' potpourri starting 5/10 instead of going to the stupid goblin every 20 minutes. So it's actually reasonable to obtain pulse weapons.

I guess you looked it up after you asked and found out before I finished typing lol

Is there any zones/targets other than Dyna D that have Geomancy Nerfs?

And, am I right in understanding the 75% resistance mentioned means you just multiply geomancy buffs by 1/4 then floor?

Going to add support for this to my DPS spreadsheets, want to make sure I get it right.

Master Trials.
No clue on Black and White.

50% on Unafraid from what I know, never bothered to confirm tbh.

75% on Sealed Fate and Iroha.
Only ones I know of.

Also in Dyna D there is a thing called Weaponskill Decay. So DPS spreadsheets probably aren't accurate at all because of that decay. If there is same WS being used anyway.

Foes with 50% resistance:
Wave3 Dyna D bosses, Erinys, Albumen, Iroha MT, Velkk/Tonberry Ambu.

Foes with 75% resistance:
Wave2 Dyna D bosses and possibly all the wave1/2 mobs there, Omega/Ultima MT.

Foes that are immune:
Qiqirn/Poroggo Ambu.

Unconfirmed but clearly impossible to cap pdif with just Defense Down debuffs:
Alexander MT (not Odin/Valks), SL MT, all the UCNMs and HTBs.

Was Iroha 50%? I thought there was a Japanese post saying it was 75%. I never used Geo for it so never actually tested.

Edit: I found the Japanese post from Afania back in September. You was right, it's 50%.

Where can I find more info on this?

If its a flat multiplier after WS dmg, then its not super important, as the primary use of a DPS spreadsheet is to just min/max the damage of your weaponskills themselves the majority of the time.

Thus if both Set A and Set be have a flat, lets say -20% WS Dmg multipler, then whether Set A is better or Set B is better will still be comparable.

Geomancy nerfs however are important, as that means you may need to sacrifice stats like Double Attack, WSD, etc in order to keep Acc/Pdif up, as opposed to usual circumstances where PDIF and Acc are easily capped with Geo buffs.

So would just a "None"/"-50%"/"-75%" geomancy penalty dropdown be sufficient then?

Check the Iroha fight event forum post. I believe Zanosan had possible info on the WS decay, but not sure if any others have done testing.

It is the same between Dyna D and Iroha, and I only know of Zanosan's testing.

I've linked Papesse's last post on that forum as it's long forgotten about now, hard to find aside from that.
https://www.ffxiah.com/forum/topic/52664/iroha-fight-event/3#3375726
The info should be on one of those pages.

Just tested in Unafraid of the Dark, the Shadow Lord has 75% resistance to Geomancy effects. It's actually not that hard to check with Night Terror, Malaise and MDB down BLU spells (Tearing Gust etc).

"Enhances X" usually means it increases the bonus already given, so probably just more subtle blow. If it added something other than subtle blow, it would usually say "Augments X".

I can't remember any testing, but whatever it does, I'm pretty sure the bonus applies only when the Mitons are equipped. So pretty much worthless.

SE hasn't always been the most consistent with that though particularly when it comes to things like enhancing merit abilities.

I'd think something as easy as SB would've been testing by now especially given how that would be an obvious test but not so obvious on say "Enhances Desperate Blows effect" and we found that

According to Ruaumoko, in a PM conversation I had with him, Futhark hands add +2 subtle blow per merit to Sleight of Sword.

There was no mention of if they had to be kept equipped for the effect, so that would need to be tested.

Only a scale of 9-10, how screwed am I? I'm going to call the hotline tomorrow and find out.

Iirc, when I did the same thing, there were a lot of questions about billing addresses and other cc details, so if you have those, you might get it worked out.

I've ran into a problem with my alt, its been a while since I did vagary with him. But I was able to trade in my KI's to obtain a befouled crown (so I would assume I have all the wins) I've talked to Sagheera and Monisette, traded the correct mats, yet Monisette does not want to take my mats to upgrade my empy SCH head to 119...what am I missing?

Edit: Nvm, I solved up, lets just say I'm really stupid.

Cobalt cells for more drop slots for more chances to get petrifacts is what I'm going to try for this.

It's a *** up. HTB this month is Ifrit.

Sucks. You have to kill all 6 prime fights to unlock it if you never bothered.

Is there a wise choice to do the gardening thing for this month?
I assume you need to plant a seed and then wait until you can harvest it.
Is there some seed that grows faster than others? I seem to recall in the Mog Garden that some are ready in 1 hr while others take, like, days.
I assume the same must apply to pot gardening?

Apparently tarutaru rice grows in one day. Grain seeds. Fire Crystal. Any pot but arcane.

All the old sites.... nothing tells you how fast the ***grows.
