No, I've definitely seen people claim that you can do it for ambuscade. Never made sense to me either.
Katriina is always saying to use naturalist's roll(enhancing duration+) and accession regen5 before entering. Again, context. The roll is to make regen last longer, the roll itself won't carry.
Each buff type has an innate property determining whether it wears or stays upon zoning, and any of them that are programmed to stay will carry over into Ambuscade.
Protect, Shell, Reraise, Food, Regen, Refresh, Stoneskin, etc. will all stay when entering Ambuscade, while Songs, Rolls, Phalanx, Light Arts, Entrust, etc. will all disappear.
"what's the only way I'm going to be able to get a group from shout to be able to clear this by failing the least"
((I'm assuming here, but yeah, safe bet.))
Even if that's the case, there is still nothing wrong with melee setup. I've done them PUG way with every member are people that I don't know, some had no previous melee setup clear experience either. T3 isn't Rocket science, come on.
It's also way easier to get a good melee since they are dim a dozen not many plays RNG or blm seriously.
But hey, if you like blm and RNG, why not? They just don't kill as fast.
But answer your questions the way they are directed.
If someone is asking the best way to do it, try to understand WHY they would be asking.
Someone that has to ask how to do it, has a 0% chance of pulling it off with melees. It's the reason SMN strats exist in the first place. If melee was possible SMN wouldn't exist.
My absolute favorite thing in this game is watching people fail content. I'm highly qualified in the "what works" category.
People that think they're a "good" melee are a dime a dozen. ACTUAL good melee are quite rare.
For those of you that visit Bg you already know the premise of this thread but for those that don't, it's simple.

Please don't bash people for asking questions hating someone for seeking knowledge even if you deem it a stupid thing to ask makes you look like an even bigger tool.
If your answer is on the large side either providing a link or spoilering the answer might be a good idea to help reduce the thread size.
