In regards to Skirmish Augments, would be better choose Weapon Skill Modifier +10 (MND) or Weapon Skill Damage +3%. Intended WS is Realmrazer (multi-hit). Skjalf has guessing MND+10.

I believe for WS with such a high modifier, MND +10 would win out.
Since the WS Damage would only apply to the first hit, I'd definitely go with the MND. I've noticed that Alluvion armor has rather poor stats (STR, et al) when compared to pre-existing gear, so improving these stats has (at least for THF and RUN) proven to be more practical and often superior to WS Damage or Crit Damage.
All NPCable items have an exchange rate of 10 gil/spark (except the lowest level crap which always cost 50 sparks). Acheron Shield is the item that costs the most sparks (around 2.5k), so you'd spend less time doing transactions.
Someone had the drop list of the KSNMs during this campaign, does somewhere know where that is? I thought on one of these threads, but I can't find it.

Does TH need a direct action on the target to be applied? Or is being in the target's enmity list enough to apply TH on it?
Doing an action (Collaborator/Accomplice etc) on a player who performed a direct action on the target counts as direct action or not?

you have to perform an action on the target. So, stuff that is a self or party target will not work, but actions like steal/mug or even a missed ranged attack will.
So a direct action, be it AoE or Single Target, missed or hit, has to be performed to apply TH.
Has this been tested btw?
Wondering just out of curiosity btw, not hinting that I do not believe you.
yeah that's been tested to death, AoE's were changed at some point in how they apply TH. They either only apply TH to the primary target or used to and do apply to all now, I can't remember which.
Well an AoE spell is a direct action that you perform on a target, you it it with a spell, so it should count.
I remember the nerf to AoE proccing in Dynamis but I guess that's a different story compared to TH.
Judging from the noticeable difference I see when I do Brash Gate with a BLM going /THF, I'd be leaning to say that AoE direct action (AoE spell) procs TH on all targets that get hit for sure.
I'll try to look further info about this anyway, thanks for the time being.

I'm fairly certain the action has to deal damage to count. I had TH gear equipped for Steps/Flourishes, so doing stuff like Dynamis or whatever, I could melee in normal gear instead of full-timing TH gear. However, if I only did a Step, the TH procs I'd see would only be to 4, instead of 9. This was not the case when I'd use Violent Flourish for TH, though; TH would proc to 9.
Has anyone installed Win10 and tried FFXI? I had a drive die last night, so I was thinking about picking up a new drive and putting 10 on it.
One of my ls mates has been using it for months with (mostly) success. He's giving it a fresh format right now, but other than some oddities with video drivers (which seem resolved) he's been able to play just fine.

I would wait for the first SP1 or something, unless you have a good feature you know 10 has that you're excited to try.
under the skin, 10 is basically 8.1 with a facelift and some new candy. I don't have an active FFXI account, but everything else is working fine on 2 of my PCs that are 10166 (release version). I did notice a couple oddities with regards to laptops, some of the features like touchpad gestures or touchscreen tools don't make the upgrade correctly and need to be reinstalled. They work fine after, though.
For those of you that visit Bg you already know the premise of this thread but for those that don't, it's simple.
