Random Question thread (FFXI related)

I'm doing my first trust quest in bastok and when I go to North or South Gusta to summon Naji, it says You are unable to use Trust magic at this time.
What am I supposed to do?
I believe there is a cutscene prior to the moment to aummon it, where you must talk to naji, and naji will summon the trust, then you can use it.

Minimum required for ADL? Assuming all well geared?
The minimum we have seems is 1 person (there is a video in youtube, a mythic smn soloing adl with 1h), and pchan videos of 3 man.
I have yet to do this fight, but i believe the more common strategy consist in 2 Smns using ramuh stun move to stop adl from moving once he split. Then the rest of party is spike dmg to finish as soon as you can.
I would like to use this question to ask whats adl hp, and if its possible a spike dmg to win before him to split?
can't kill before split, he will summon for the split and takes no damage during the animation. the goal is to let him split around 50% because if he splits at 40 or below he can summon more clones again very quickly and they have access to worse tp moves. smn + zerg dd should be able to do it with a decent win rate.

can kill before split, split is highest priority in his AI below 60%
weaken to 61%, have a bunch of DD with sekkanoki ready, wait for him to ready a tp and double ws
it's not lowman or practical, but it is doable
would say for a reliable win using melee strats you're going to want 5 w/ 1hrs, 7+ without.. but obviously can be done with less at the cost of some success rate

if you don't mind gambling and have a capable bst, droopy dortwin can solo ADL with Unleash whirl claws post-split. you just have to hope that you aren't hit by implosion

Trusts can't go into Dynamis, currently.
According to the November 2013 update...

*Prerequisites
Players must be in possession of a level 99 Walk of Echoes weapon or level 90 empyrean weapon.
Players must be able to enter Walk of Echoes.
Players most have cleared the quest “Guardian of the Void.”
*Receiving the Quest
Players are able to receive the quest by examining the ??? target in Walk of Echoes and speaking with Kupofried.
Basically equip it, talk to the ??? then choose which WS from Kupofreid's list, then trade the qualified weapon to the ???.

I was pretty sure I did, though it's possible I'm missing a cutscene or something from that. I have a bad habit of not following thru with npcs after the fact with some quests lol. Idk, servers are down so I'll double check that when they come up :/

You're reading it wrong. Instead of a random ch drop from those bc's, they will now each drop one specific chapter.

Hi,
Does the additional effect ice spikes on Ighwa cap proc decently on things that matter (delve V2, AA D)? Was wondering if it was better to stick to reverence coronet +1 for PLD (which has PDT-5%) or switch to that one (PDT-4% and ice spikes) now that I have access to it.

About delve, if its easy/hard, its all about:
1. Having the right jobs (whm, brd, stun sch) so you can join any party, be it ls or pug;
2. Having good connections (having a good ls with good winning rate, and that allow all members to join to get their wins);
If you dont have any of those, probably will be hard, yes.

Where may I find info on the ilvl Spharai? Depends what kind of info you're seeking. If you're talking just stats both here and bgwiki have item pages for it. If you're talking acquisition I believe bgwiki has a page for the requirements as well but I'll have to dig up the link later when I'm not on my phone.

Is there any reason that one of my chars should be getting more xp/kill than the other? In a Skirmish III earlier, my BRD was getting 800-900 limit points per kill while my WHM was getting upwards of 2400. I would occasionally get the 2.4k on BRD (which the entire rest of the party said they were getting), but almost always less than half.
Both Lv99, both set to limit points, both with Ionis, neither using an xp ring, both standing together the entire time (so no chains were missed), no Corsair's Roll. D:
Edit: oh god never mind. >___> Literally just realized my BRD idles in no iLevel stuff. So I somehow never noticed that iLevel affects xp--can anyone confirm that for me real quick? XD
