Wondering if I should hold off on upgrading R/Es for SAM until more info is found on Skirmish weapons? I'd like to build an Amano to 99 but now I'm not sure if it's just going to get smoked by these new weapons out.

Did devs say if R/M/Es are actually getting buffed, or is that just a rumor?

Is there a resource or thread for Skirmish? I'd like to get started but I don't know where to begin.

I usually use BG Wiki for my information but there isn't an entry for Skirmish.

Any jobs out there that would benefit from a /Dark sub? Asking cause I'm in a debate about either taking Dark or Sam to 99 but only one of them as I'm trying to keep my # of 99 jobs fairly low (was 5, now 6 thanks to Run) and if I choose Sam, then if /dark isn't useable, I feel almost wasted in the time (and gil) invested in getting it to 50.

Atleast as it currently stands, \drk is for getting access to most absorb spells as blm or sch\drk for procs in VW.

neither job I plan to take to 99. Guess it'll just stay there and look pretty. Was tempted for a time to use it on dnc for Soul Eater and absorbs, but after one use in a Dyn setting quickly abandoned it, as the absorb were useless and wasn't generating TP at a quick enough pace to keep up with the damage from Soul.

Did I read somewhere that some of the JA haste from Desperate Blows is moving to LR itself? I might be delusional or something.

But if so, then a lot of 2h jobs can benefit from /drk if this update hits.

hundred fists + soul eater + lastresort was a ***' ball @ 75. I used to go kill DL that way.

you need a dedicated whm though. haven't messed with it since the lvl cap increase, could be fun.

Don't think they are doing that today.

They will be giving LR a native 15% JA that applies to 2handers only. Given the duration/recast, it averages to about 9% haste, so /Sam is probably a better option with the STP etc. Unless you really want the watered down attack boost that unmerited LR gives.

It does have some potential for Sam main. LR + Hasso would have capped JA haste while giving a moderate attack boost.

Did they ever say what would happen to Desperate blows merits?

They would be adjusted so that 5/5 would be 25% ja haste still.

Quick ? about altepa cleaving on mandies. Just started doing it for my ls mates and I avg. about 100-120k xp and hour. I have nothing to go by, so is that a decent rate or do others have better success? Is there anything i should be doing in particular? Im pulling as soon as they repop and killing them pretty quickly like normal. So im not sure if i need to do something different or if that rate is normal. thanks for any input^.^

Is my somewhat decently geared WHM mule using Earth Crusher (Beyond, Ultimate, Smiting Blow?) a workable choice to brew Apademak?

Should I try to do 3 at once or one by one?

heyo all.

My fatty ps3 recently took a ***, and I switched all my BS to PC. the transition was fairly painless, as I had my wife set up on there previously, so the whole transfer + buying adoulin went smooth as hell, no hiccups.

after commandeering the home PC for personal use, I didn't feel that I should leave the rest of the family out in the cold, so I bought the wife a toshiba laptop. over the course of the week, I got her account transfered to her labtop, full game + adoulin, installing ect., all went smooth as hell, no hiccups.

now, this is where ***gets confusing. on a few different levels. I was maybe feeling altruistic or possibly lost my mind for a moment, & decided it would be a good idea to get my friend a pawnshop bought PC (birthday / wedding present) and install the game, get a ps3 controller hooked up, ect. well I buy off amazon just I had previously, & after a confusing conversation with his fiance to get his login info, get it 100% up & running until I notice..... no adoulin.....

now, did I just get *** because I bought the ultimate edition for a guy who only needed to technically buy the expansion? because when I try to punch in his activation code, I got "the user couldn't add another service account .. yadayadyada if your code starts with a U you need to start a new PoL"

man I will be pissy if I have to buy the expansion a fourth time for 3 people >.<

@Mosin: I've registered abyssea using an abyssea ultimate edition code when the expansions were $10 each and the collection was $20. Maybe Adoulin is different, though, so I'm sure that's not particularly helpful.

How do you reposition the window for the cellhelp addon? I've tried various commands, but nothing seems to work.

Edit: I found where to do it via the .lua file, but I'd still like to know where to do it in game.

Where is a good place to level on FOV/GOV at level 30 on a RDM/NIN ? I'd like to actually play the game a little rather than sit in Abyssea

Lower Delkfutts maybe, 3 bat + 3 Gigas page. That's what I did on Run and Blu, but not sure how well that's going to work for Rdm at that level. 3 bat/3 Goblin page might be easier to deal with, hoping the goblins all kill themselves before you. Just Thf/Whm/Blm so they shouldn't be difficult on Rdm at all.

Can a BST solo Proto Omega?

Did I miss some new WS belts that came out with this last update? Prosilio and Windbuffet's prices plummeted on Odin.... I bought them when they were so much more expensive just a few months ago >_<.
