But with a good group (one that can kill it in like 3 minutes), the BLU could probably stunlock it completely during that time. Edit: Was thinking of some other NM that spawns adds when it casts. Izyx is complete cake, can stunlock it forever. We only bring 1 DD but he manages to kill it in 45 secs. With such a fast fight I figured it'd be nice if BLU worked for stuns so I didn't have to spend 15 mins gearing up SCH. :x

They just become my ***. :3 can't trigger it and it doesn't have any effect. it's the most useless of all of the useless glows

If you're going to cleave, could use BLU and your mule, hold Glavoid + Chloris pops, and sell them. The Tahrongi NMs are the most valuable by-far for selling... if you kill them, could get maybe 500k per shell/bud. You figure if you could get 4 shell/bud sales a day, that's 2 million gil, probably more than you'd make dual-boxing Dynamis with your BLU. That's a big "if" though. You have to build amber and pearl, which takes time, then hope you don't get duplicate KIs. I don't think it's worth it, personally. Dynamis is pretty chill after you get the TEs. Just for shits and giggles, has anyone ever tried to kill Apademak with 3 -4 smn's? Anyone think it might work? I know there are better ways to kill him, just looking to try something different.

and in general situations with armageddon? Helping a friend with a mythic and I need to farm zeni... (haven't done that in like 3 years). What's the best thing to take pics of if you don't go after the target? Is it still the flowers in sea?
Nauls at low HP in Abyssea - Tahrongi work well. Sandworms also give good points, but they're more annoying to hold.

Is there any reason that killing plantiods in Dynamis is not counting toward my GS trial?
i've heard no monster families will count for trials at all except kindred but I could be wrong
Which trial, and what are you fighting? That's weird.
Plantiod mobs on OAT path, thought I would make some gil while doing the trial /skilling up but .... oh well back to Altepa mandies :/

I heard that there's a guaranteed way to get the acrolith on the third floor of AR2 to drop 2 plans but I don't see a reference on BG wiki (and I don't remember reading it in the salvage thread). Do you have to catch the acrolith before it enters the first room of qutrub?
To my knowledge, there isn't a way to force him to drop 2 plans. You can break him like any other Acrolith, but it doesn't seem to have any effect on drop rate.
The secret to floor 3 Arrapago is that it's possible to do both porter NMs as long as you pull one of them without opening the doors. AFAIK, this is not possible without 3P tool usage. If someone is getting more plans than you think possible and they're claiming that it's because they're forcing the F3 Acrolith to double drop, it is probably actually this instead.
