They avoided an evaluation system because everyone will come on the job thats best for maxing evaluation scores.
Everyone goes to DI thf/dnc (thf/blm lets be real, quickest warp out) because crits go quick for building eval in a short time.

They're mixing casual with endgame. Leave the grind for chests. Have the NMs be LS event style content that give you a bonus chest a week or something. Casual people get to get the same gear but endgame people get to have some fun with their LSs and get there slightly faster than just the casual path.
These sets are already like 50-60 mil gil to cap excluding the cost to buy them

That works in theory... minus the part that you can't actually "schedule" to do an event with your LS and your friends when you don't even know exactly when the "event" itself could happen, at completely unpredictable times, once per month.

How do you work around that? I'm sure they thought about it and resolved it with "it's not a necessary event, we don't want it to feel like that because if we do, other people will feel left out that they cannot participate because it's not as casual as the rest of the event"

It does make sense but realy, it becomes a vicious circle from which you cannot get out. Which brings us back to the point that some servers are already experiencing the fact that not enough people decide to bother with doing those NMs/Fights. It will only get worse with time, eventually everywhere.
I'm positively confident they will take action in the near future when this problem worsens, but there still is no easy solution because of the way they decided to design the whole thing.

Add a monthly HTMB's for these fights ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Reward is a HQ box of that zone not part of rotation.

Now everyone has the opportunity to do the fights if they want.

That solves part of the issues, not all... but it's a brilliant idea nonetheless if you ask me.

Other than the terrible drop rate and stupid mechanics, Peach Power was actually structured well. Have to do trivial prep work and can do a half hour BC once a week for a good drop. Make a Limbus version of peach power and I'm there for it.

Peach power is daily though, not weekly.

And stealing enough boxes for that is really tedious. Personally, I was fine with the drop rate, cause the mexp rewards were decent enough to be their own reason to do it. But the imp box stealing was hell. Never again SE.

I'm having some difficulties getting my Chocobo to learn Burrow, he is on Day 34 with Better Than Average discernment(128). I have been trying for a few days completely wiping his energy, reupping with chocolixirs and repeating. I had zero issues with him learning Treasure Hunter, learned it the same day I started trying.
I am still regarded a parent.

I did not have this issue with my last chocobo, but that was a racing one using canter and gallop.
Am I missing something? Am I just getting unlucky?

More DSC needed. Bore and Borrow are an easier learn once DSC is 160+

Checking my records I learned both on two different chocobos on a single Tell a Story with DSC 189 and 185.

Does it matter which VNM I farm for Crystal Petrifacts or just farm a really easy one? I plan to use Cobalt Cells to help increase drops. Thank you.

Don't know for certain. Most people don't use cells and don't full proc on junk mobs so the drop rates are a bit skewed.

We have 100k kills of Qilin but only 1000 of Seymour so the data is misrepresented. Should be relatively equal. I don't think you would get it 2x faster killing Qilin than Seymour as the data says.

They all have relatively the same size loot pools, the only variable is time to kill (and if there are a dozen bots taking all 3 pops)

I did a metric ton of voidwatch, no hard data but petrifacts do drop everywhere plentifully, just target something else you want (hmp/rift/reforge items) and you'll get them eventually. Cobalt does help.

If you're looking to unlock pulse purchases from the potpourri goblin, it is faster to farm abdhaljs honors in legion.

Generally the right answer. Pick a secondary objective; cinder, dross, metal, JSE mat, pulse, and farm that, petrifacts come either way.

If the objective is potpourri, legion is better, by far, for sure. Unless you specifically want something from VW potpourri.

I still have stacks of these on my mules. They are common with the bosses: Pil, Akvan, Kaggen, Aello, Qilin, Uptala
