Situational

Atheling will always win in abyssea where you already have a high (or capped) crit rate. Outside abyssea, the crit rate and crit from dex probably beat atheling's attack most of the time. The STP is relevant as it will almost definitely shave a hit off of your hit-build, and is roughly equivalent to the 3% DA as far as WS frequency goes (The DA of course has the advantage of additional white damage).

They are very close outside abyssea, but I think the crit wins in most situations.
