It makes sense against birds with piercing weakness, and triplus' bonus to TA.

Do it without any AF3 and see if it still crops up.

ok went to wack stuff without Af3+2 or a triplus dagger.

I have one conclusion for this dagger, if you have the NQ you don't need this *** HQ. I was wacking stuff with it since my last post and I have not see one spike damage. if it helps my min critical is 210 range with max somewhere near 330 range if this information helps.
even if this ***works its too rare to make it worth the time and energy spend spaming Qilin for it.

It's still one of the best off-hand daggers, even if its hidden effect is missing.

GMs dont keep their name, only LGM and SGMs have unique names. When a GM logs into his GM account(a special laptop sent to them by SE for only GM purposes)they log onto one of several GM characters. So there can be dozens of GMs using the same GM character at different times of the day depending on their shift.

It's what I heard from a member in an HNML back on Ragnarok around 2006, he was a GM and would also play FFXI while on duty and would afk to take calls when he got them. When he'd take a call during an event, he'd afk then tell us about people's stupidity over vent when he finished. He said that Square sends GMs a laptop console to use from home that has the GM client of FFXI.

They're taking in applications for NA GMs now by the way since there's a shortage. I heard they don't pay much but the qualifications to become one are minimal at best.

Los Angeles, yup.

As for the requirements, in US it might be very low but in EU you have to be perfectly bilingual. While it's not hard, it still ask you to have some kind of skills.

If the dagger wasn't working, they would have patched it or at least talked about it. As much as they fail pretty often, they at least do that.

Maybe the people who "tested" this dagger didn't test it correctly. After all, it's an effect that is new and to which we are not used, people might have jumped the gun too fast.

Before yelling that something is broken, take a new look at yourself, you might have overlooked something.

They haven't even changed the name on Celaeono/Qilin's Atmacite so they aren't the same..

I've done pretty extensive testing. So far, nothing. I have one possibility left to test, but yeah.

I'm not that much of a THF myself but critrate and DEX (for acc, dDEX and base DMG during SA and SATA) doesn't sound bad at all, along with the high base dmg.

Completely ignoring what the extra effect might add as well.

What that would be? Only activated on non-crit multihit WS?

I've been meaning to ask, what kind of parameters have you been testing?
