2011 Screenshot Photo Contest

We at Sabotenders LS want to show everyone the beautiful world of Eorzea and Final Fantasy XIV, we want to invite you to participate in our 2011 screenshot photo contest.

The rules are simple:

Take a screenshot inside the game (FFXIV screenshot, Fraps, Steam... every tool to do so is accepted), and without any editing send it to us to participate.
Send us your winning shots in any of these categories:
landscape
humor
action
love.
email it to ishtar.luthien at finalfantasy.mx
If you are not from Trabia server, we'll be accepting screenshots but we can't assure we can deliver the Grand Price to every FFXIV server (actions are being taken to do so)
If you choose to send a pic without overlays, please send an additional screenshot of your char with your char name on it, to probe that both are your own work.
We'll be accepting entries till November 30th 2011.
NEW: We can accept one photo per category (4) per contestant.

Judged on creativity and photographic quality, one first place winner will be selected in each category by a panel of experts. From the three category winners, the grand prize winner will be selected. This year's contest judges are:

Bersha Pikmin - LS official mascot.
Ozelotl Anahuatl - LS enjin webmaster
Luna Nueva - LS facebook group webmaster

The winners will be announced December 3rd 2011 in this blog.
The Grand Prize winner will receive: $10,000,000 gil. Winner of each category will receive: $1000,000 gil (Trabia server, for any other server we can't assure the delivery, but we'll do our best to do so)

Hope to see more photos. I love doing photography in real life, so I brought a lot of that in game. used to take tons of photos in FFXI too :)

er, how many pictures are we allowed to submit?

We didn't set any limit yet. I would say 10 pictures per participant. I'll update the page contest.

um... how do i get the ui to hide so i can take a picture? i can't be the only one because i ask people all the time and no one knows. i play ffxiv windowed through steam so steam has a SS button which is sick but i still don't know how to hide the ui!

hold the "scrlk" or scroll lock key and press the print screen key also called the "prtscn/sysrq" key.

In the upper-right part of the keyboard (if you use a standar kb) there are three keys: imp screen, bloq, pause. Imp Screen does the screenshot, one of the other two hides de UI. if you use the command /names you can hide/unhide the character names.

hmmm i don't have a scroll lock key, i'm on a laptop with a num pad. i thought i've looked for this key binding before in the config-maybe i missed it?
