What ToM Weapon For Monk

after getting ukon 90 and kannaig 85 i dont tihnk i can get my regular team to run for another emp weapon. so im tihnkgin of doing a element ToM weapon myself

but im kinda tossed up between going for dmg str+9 attack+20 to keep hate
or go for preservation vit+0 physsical damage taken -10% to better take the dmg.

i will mostly be tanking on monk in a 3-4 ppl group

Mnk has loads of dmg reduction gear why would you want to toss your damage fulltime in exchange for more. Heck if you got the right gear mnk can cap phy dmg if im not mistaken or dam close.

The str one will be more usefull in the vast majority of situations even if you are low on phys damage taken gear unless I'm mistaken.

any droped h2h that would be easier/better to get than the str ToM weapon ?

Not at the moment, but seriously, if you're not going to go for victory smite, and you have 2 emps already, you may as well consider your mnk retired.

With Ukon and Kanaggi, there is no situation where you being on mnk will be of any benefit to anyone.

May as well just go for a Vere. WoE coin rate blows now lol.

Don't need "the strongest pair of h2h" to proc blue and with a Ukon + being the most valuable red proccer, better to have someone else go mnk.

You don't need the strongest Gaxe to proc red either, but it kills ***faster after you do proc it. His crew might not even have MNK or he might just wanna use it to get BLU proc items with the other two people being WHM, THF. I don't see any reason why he wouldn't want to upgrade his MNK.

Though I still wonder if Taurine Cesti is better then the STR/Attack ToM H2h or the other way around.

Getting the Indrik h2h or fire magian h2h takes a lot less time than it does to get a vere/rev fist. Especially considering his situation where he won't have a group to get the vere done.

They were barely ahead at 90, ToM got upgrade, Taurine didn't. I didn't see the new stats, but unless they got next to nothing, I'd say 90 tapians

I'd say the 3 dmg prolly does it but still would be rather close.

I got the Taurine Cesti on a random run and just used those cause it took 0 time at all. Then again I haven't gotten serious about MNK yet. Just basic setup.

so im the only one with it. so it will be kinda stretching it to ask to run for my 3rd emp

my (ex)gf does not like melee hitters that much
and prefer magey jobs where im opposite and likes the melee jobs and simply outsurced mage jobs to my bo...erm mule

Never ever EVER use afflictors...I'm shocked they were even put in the game they suck that badly lol

Gotta tell the gimps apart somehow. Every time you examine one they *** about it. At least when they wear Afflictors you don't need to examine them.

re: afflictors, i think tiger said it before that they're even worse than destroyers. i wish i could tell all these mnks to get at least dmg+5 augmented savate's until they can get something better :\

str taipan +3 owner here (sigh), it took me a week to get to +2 but i kinda pushed myself to get through all the firesdays i could in that time (and fire weather is a myth). geode prices jumped too, so there's that.

honestly, you'd probably be able to get reve +2 much faster than str taipans and at least then you'd have smite (the best H2H WS). hell, revenant +2 is easily > taipan +3 and i'd bet > taipan +4 just because of smite. taipans are for suckers like me who for whatever reason don't have the opportunity to get revenant or veres, and since the OP already has two empyreans, well...
