BRD Advice!? Help me not suck :)
Cure potency is a great boon if you're in a small group or duoing a lot.

Lullaby recast 5/5 Nightingale 5/5 Troubador 5/5 That's what I have and a brd not using nightingale and troubador just...isn't a brd imo. EDIT: I like whm sub, can haste after i march x2 ^^b Would probably be your ideal buff set for things that havent capped out already like Minuet V etc, if you care enough/have the inventory space. Obviously you'd replace any necessary pieces with any that would enhance the song specifically like the +1 to Scherzo on the af3+2 feet. Chances are though that you never will be lugging around this much gear because 90% of the time you're playing capped marches, which in that case you'd just use anything that extends song duration. I'm surprised nobody has mentioned melee bard. Evisceration is awesome and you have access to Aeolian... just sayin'.
It's not so much that Night and Troub are awesome...

Yeah, as said somewhere else bard has access to some really interesting pieces like Haidate and Hecatomb gear. With a good amount of work, it could be neat. Gross on the belt, but at least the Schlen drops from ketea, which i will likely get a pop for while getting Cithara :) Hey Asymp, off topic but, you can yell at me if you need any BRD advice, or help with (attaining) BRD gear. I'd be happy to help you whenever I'm on and not busy.
Something like this for TP, probably for melee bard that would be easily obtainable. Can easily change the Felibre's for another Kila+2 if you don't need the benefits of it. I love the game nowadays, lol.
I decided I wanted Byakko's Haidate today after reading through stuff, so I decided to go up and get a pair. 1.5 hours of killing Aura Statues on DNC/THF + 5 minutes of changing to DNC/NIN + 2 Groundskeepers killed (although my friend was killing GKs for part of while I was farming Aura Statues) + 1 Despot + Aura Statue aggro while some JP looked on waiting for me to die to claim (I didn't) + 10 minutes of getting lost in Sky while another friend came out on THF + 5 minutes of killing Byakko === Byakko's Haidate
