How Has Your Server Changed?

Since Bahamut is now closed, I was wondering if a few people from Odin could answer some questions I have regarding the closing of a server.

What kind of things have you noticed since your server has become closed?

Is it becoming harder to find a pt in lower lvl areas like the dunes?

What is happening with RMT? Are there less now? Is there a noticeable difference in prices at the AH?

How has the game dynamic changed since there are no new people ariving daily?

I'm asking these questions because I don't plan to move, but I also want to know what is in store for those of us that stay. Any and all things you have noticed would be a great help to those of us who plan to stay.

Actually, the biggest thing I've seen is friends leaving to other servers because their friends/family couldn't come to Odin to be with them.

RMT is still around, but I haven't seen the craziness at the Bastok Mines MH entrance like people on other servers report.

It's not an overnight change, but you definitely start to see slow changes over time. Getting low level parties has changed a lot since Level Sync and FoV were introduced, and I personally greatly prefer to EXP in duo/trio setups through 37 for subjob purposes, and I usually do that with friends.

It's not a recent change, but it's still too soon to see what the long term effects will be. The price of a Hagun is finally starting to drop, but it will take a long time before the number of people willing to pay 3M for one is exhausted and the supply catches up. I think we had one go for 2.7M this week, and there are 4 currently on the AH.

Forgot to mention about people who moved from other servers, but didn't move mules to Odin and can't now.

I know that has caused some people to head back to where they came from. For a long time people came to Odin because it was crowded, then you'd see them complaining about Dynamis/Limbus jacking, huge waits at Nyzul Isle, etc.

The Dynamis and Limbus issue is still a problem, and I know a lot of shells barely use the calendar sites anymore. A few weeks ago, we'd been waiting over an hour for people to exit Windurst, then another shell showed up and jacked it on us and were jerks about it. We ended up going to Sandy and Jeuno before ending up in Bastok.

Because there are so many people working on relics and so many people with 75s, I don't see either of those issues being resolved at all unless SE changes them to instanced events.

Not being able to create mules is really the only change I've noticed. That bugs me to no end, because I'd just made this character and was planning to make a new mule, and never got to. Since following TOS would prohibit two characters from the same account to be online at the same time, there is no reason to block mule creation.

It sucks now because there is nobody to party with in the dunes or qufim....sad

I'm considering a move by the end of the year during the next free immigration if Odin doesn't open up. I want my girlfriend to try the game but I can't even bring her with a gold worldpass unless I server hop.

This is ridiculous.

Tuna; as long as Odin is full I'm sure we'll see frequent free immigrations. Otherwise, I'll just pay for it. It's not about the money, it's just 25 bucks is a new cami or some new pajamas and I love to shop.

Well they already aired my own father on The Jimmy Kimmel Live show as the Korean Ambassador even though he wants to fufill his career as a Film Director & Producer.

Even Kuroganashi agreed that my father is a genius & his movie would save the entire Industry of Films.

& That it would pull trillions of dollars back into the industry; It's just that, well, we have all these attention *** that were already in the Hollywood industry!
