BLM Body Question

Hihi, have a bit of a dilemma at the moment.

This is my current nuking gear

(Moonshade is MAB+4, diamond ring is INT+2)
(Have +2 Varunas and Indras staves)

I just recently got +1 Body, and a few hours before that I managed to get a Literae Coat with MAB+5 on it. The atmas I mostly use inside Abyssea is Beyond/MM/Allure (Working on Ultimate)

Question is, which is better? Literae or Goetia Coat +1?

Literae Coat would give better damage nuking. Goetia would be better if there's a chance you could resist.

Well, Literae is better for pure dmg, but I think the -delay on af3 body might be better if you'r spamming spells.
Kinda up to you what to use tbh :P

I didn't really consider the delay- while it's only 1~1.5sec on a T4/T5, the +2 would definitely pull ahead even if it didn't add more MAB though if you were spamming as much as possible.

Like Kvazz said though, either would be fine

I was thinking this too, with the fact that you really only cast Ice spells now (outside a very few situations), 6% is minimal, around 1.5 seconds on Blizzard V (rdm sub), which most likely gets rounded down to 1 second, which is practically a 0% increase in dot due to the fact that anything you're fighting will be dead after Blizzard V -> Freeze II -> Blizzard IV -> Blizzaga III -> Blizzard III (and you can most likely cast all of that in 30 seconds) or dead in that time with a combination of melees.

I'd use Literae myself, moar epeen! :D

Lol fair enough then its settled! Seems such a shame I spent all that effort trying to get +1 body xD Oh well i can still use it for refresh and when trying to proc yellow.

Sadly the +2 item is used for BLM RDM and DNC, all 3 jobs that I have D: going to be a difficult decision when I get around to it, lol

Edit: They'r really easy to get anyways, just get whm + thf + blm and kill the scorp nm in Altepa

4INT isn't going to add huge numbers, the -recast will let you nuke more over time, as would the refresh effect.

That's true! I had twilight cloak for RDM and completly forgot BLM could use it >.> its just I do like nuking with the +1 hat because of the faster casting lol.
