Bahamut Is Closed

Bahamut is closed. No more mules and no server change to bahamut possible anymore. SE offers free server emigration for people on bahamut. Same thing that happened to Odin!

Yeesh, they really need to just merge some servers already instead of having nearly two overflowing servers while others remain less than half filled.

Here's what I saw on ffxionline which gives more specifics. Looks like we're too crowded and they have recommendations for which worlds they would like people to move to. The emigration wont follow the world-transfer rules in that it costs nothing and you don't have a 90 day period before you can move again.

If enough people don't volunteer for this by the end of March they may have to force some of us to move. So to my fellow players on Bahamut, it was nice knowing you but who knows who's staying and going and to where.

I don't honestly know because I haven't experienced it but I'm sure they will give you a choice so you can try and maybe go with some of your friends instead of being in a new world by your lonesome.

On that note, I think some of the linkshells should discuss the possibility of moving as a group. That way they stay together and maybe we'll hit the quota to avoid forced moves and broken friendships.

Not saying any particular LS should move, just something to think about.

Yea I have some friends in Fairy and Asura, but I really dont want to move from bahamut but want them to move em here, guess that wont happen anytime soon..

Men and women i've loved this server. I've always been on it, have many friends, and few enemies. I'd hate to move away ; ; Well hell it would be pretty cool to be less competed against on the markets i make money in >.> Hmmm... That's something to think about. Come to think of it, friends are more important than money. A successful linkshell equillibrium is hard to come by too. I will stay on bahamut. {Yes, please.}

Just a quick question. I canceled my content Id's about 3 weeks ago and am planning to come back am I gonna be able to stay on bahamut? If not i will just wait for this to be over

If W(Insert many o's)dum is gonna be there, I know which server I'm not going to. They would have to drag me out kicking and screaming to get me to change servers anyways. I've worked way too hard to make my enemies on this server! If I go anywhere else, I would have to start all over again getting people to hate me.

It's Not forced.... U can stay there. JUST Everyone there has the Free option to move servers to any of the servers listed.... again Free option.....

You should be able to come back to Bahamut. A friend of mine had nearly the same situation with Odin.

That's the policy now but I was talking about the latter part that said this:

"In case the emigration campaign and the above measures have no effect on the congestion of the Bahamut world, measures such as forced transfers to other worlds or splitting the Bahamut world into a number of separate worlds may be considered.."

Havent seen that.

se said the same thing about odin. and on a side note, when se does the monthly rmt banings it frees up space till rmt come back. so start makin mules at the end of the month

Aye, Odin has been full for a while, and they've also threatened us with the whole forced split thing, hasn't happened yet. I wish they'd just close off entries all together, even when they get rid of another batch of RMT, maybe we'd actually end up being one of the most RMT free servers (and see how many people go broke all of a sudden 'cause they can't buy their beloved gil).

Not being able to make mules is annoying though, you wouldn't think a mule would do anything to add to congestion since it's not logged on at the same time as your main character, and back when you needed a world pass to get to any given world you could still make mules on your world without them, so it's not like they don't have the facility to implement it.

But supposing I'm forced to leave, I'm looking for people to offer me (and my non-HNM LS <_<) a new home.
