I love when people actually appreciate the food I make for them, and not just hurl insults like lazy, ungrateful ***.
Works both ways though. If I cook something and it's rubbish I'd like to know! Because I cook quite a lot and don't want to cook things that aren't being enjoyed or going down very well.
I guess when you're comfortable enough with somebody they can be a little more blunt with you.

I cook a lot too Aey, but there is a difference between "this could use a little more salt" and "your cooking blows".
Having read that post back, I see your point. Whilst we are never that direct (at least not about the everyday niceties) we're still comfortable enough to be blunt when it's required. I guess it's a little different with a new date though, and I can definitely see why it'd be an issue.
