Yep, just cuz of that.. It does have plenty of medicinal value, they just refuse to admit it.. Meanwhile tobacco with 0 medicinal value (other than keeping people from killing each other) remains completely legal, despite the fact that it kills more people in the US every year than all illegal drugs combined. It pisses me off that the govt. would deny people the only thing that helps them.

I'm skeptical.
I've known people with AIDS, they load them up with pharms and it don't help, they smoke weed and they're not in pain, and they pretty much instantly have their appetite back. What could he really of gained by lying when he said it was the only thing that helps (and why are there so many that say it) we don't even live in a state where it's legal.. So it's not like him tell me it's not the only thing that helps could find it's way back to his care provider and his card revoked.

Also the govt. and the FDA is a giant hypocrite.. Look up Marinol. It's just synthetic THC.. Obviously Marijuana isn't as dangerous as they make it out to be.. The problem with Marinol (at least back when I knew the people with AIDS) is it's prohibitively expensive.

Anecdotal fallacy, no? (Just trying to get a handle on some of these fallacy things)

I find it very hard to believe that in the majority of cases, marijuana is the only viable 'treatment.'

Slips, you prolly didn't know this but tabacco is gradually getting banned in USA.

Here in Michigan, you can't smoke inside buildings like restaraunts, bars, casinos, so on, nor on some college campuses. And they're taxing the hell out of cigarettes.

Go look it up yourself, you'll find tons of people complaining about the meds they have to take.. Phrams have side effects, so you 'fix' one problem, only to have another... You stop the pain, but now you're nausea and can't keep food down, so they give you anti-nausea pills, which in turn causes something else, and something else..

Let me rephrase, in most cases it's the only treatment with no real negative side effects..

Chemo and Marijuana or Chemo and like 10 different pills with side effects and can even cause damage to your body.. Hmm...

Used to, but that doesn't make me biased.. I would be biased if I used it for medicinal purposes, I'm not arguing for legal recreational use.

I've driven a little buzzed before, but I made sure to wait like 1 1/2 to 2 hours before driving after my last drink. I got home fine lol This was back when I was a freshman in college tho. Now, I more or less am the DD for friends. I don't care for alcohol anymore. Especially since a friend of mine got into an accident and lost part of her memories due to drinking.
