Does anyone know if I have to shutdown noscript entirely from my browser before verified by visa will work?? It's the only thing I haven't tried >.<
Best thing to do is allow scripts globally until you're done doing what needs to be accessed then put up your whitelist again.
yeah, I did that...
ok here's what happens, when I click "send data" for verified by visa a yellow box popped up at the top of the window (I couldn't read it, it went away too fast) and then the page would say "cannot authenticate card, call card company"
I called my card company, no problems they can see with my account or verified by visa at all.
so I disabled noscript altogether and now I don't get trhat window but it doesn't ask me to enter my password either, at first it said "password was incorrect please try again" so I closed my browser and opened it again and did it all over again and again it did not ask me for my VBV password it just automatically went to: "cannot authenticate card"
so I forgot that I swapped computers with my kids again...I installed ffxi before the swap but apparently I forgot toupdate before the swap...so now, after all that trouble with VBV and all of that I am updating...lol

=)
lol, I'm pointing and laughing at myself...just checked it...it has 20,607 files to deal with and it wants to take up the next 8 and a half hours to do it...eesh...
question, is there some kind of cap on the POL side for how fast we can download updates? Just wondering...cause our internet is pegged at 64mbps at the moment but the update time hasn't changed...seems weird to me, but then, I don't know a whole lot about all of this stuff.

This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
