You always have to go with the lesser of (however many) evils. Cox is pretty good in speed, but at least in my local region/neighborhood, the connection seems... intermittent at best, and it's extremely frustrating. Had Time Warner before Comcast took over in this area. Time Warner was great for us.. Was reliable and I never really had a problem.. We didn't start having problems with our internet until Comcast took over.

We have hard floors. I hate them. Full scale replica of the Pyramid in the Dark World of Zelda: Link to the Past isnt good enough for "Pro Builder" rank on this Minecraft server. Wow.
So my new internet is faster now...
 Never seen an upload speed better than download before. <_< Carpet.. We have hardwood floors too and I hate them as well. The only time they're 'better' is when something wet/gooey gets spilled.
Wish the Aussies downstairs would *** off so I can go eat my dinner in peace >_>
