All that would do is add unnecessary weight which would compromise agility and speed. HMM!?

A) It's a fan design, so not really the same thing.
B) Backup weapons. Wouldn't want to get caught with your swords stuck in the side of a battleship with nothing to fight off other enemies. :I

There is always the possibility of a sword breaking or somehow losing one in battle.

@Leon. I am actually looking at the idea of adding another blade onto that Astray that is similar to the large one 00 Gundam Seven Sword uses. Just need to think of a better look for it as while I want it to be large I don't want it to look quite as clunky.

different types of swords possibly... different uses... maybe if one gets knowcked out of your hand you want another there wiating for you isntead of trying to barrel roll across the floor for the one you lost... sure its epic but ehh..
