My day has been horrible...I think I did everything wrong. I didn't kill anybody but I got off work 2 hours late..and it doesnt help that the nurse coming in after me prints out everything I did late or hadn't gotten to yet and asks me "what happened here?"..and Im like "I got behind..Im fixing it"..I really don't know how I got so behind..one minute I had like 3 patients and then I had 6 and I didn't even eat dinner and I havent had anything to drink for the past 10 hours and Im really crampy and I want to cry.

That thread dealing with the *** customer reminds me of an incident today that was just plain ridiculous.

A guy came in and ordered some Root Beer Floats(I work at an A&W/Long John Silvers), and I told him we were out of spoon at the moment due to lack of shipment. Guy had the nerve to actually ask for a manager making a huge deal over one spoon, even though I apologized beforehand, as in before I rung up the drink.

I've told dozens upon dozens of customers beforehand about not having spoons and they were fine with it and understood, but my goodness this guy took it to a level that was not needed. Keeping a cool tone, I told him I'm sorry for not being able to do anything about it, as I couldn't, and that *** literally waited for like 30min after they(he was with his two kids) were done eating to complain about an inconvenience we couldn't control in the matter.

Someone please explain to me when the spoon was such a big deal and it required some serious discussion as to why Mr.Guy didn't get his spoon for a single Root Beer Float, because I apparently missed the memo.

tl;dr - Spoons are serious *** business, I tell you what.
