Tried to forget today was Father's day, but FB is lit up with people wishing their dads and everyone else a happy day. Too many mixed emotions today. I'm better off since he's gone, but I still miss him sometimes.

What does one ask for from a father they don't know in 22 -- 23 years in july -- I've met him once.

He messaged me on FB last night saying that he's sorry he was a horrible dad and what not, now he's asking if there is anything he could get me. I told him previously don't worry about it, I kind of feel like it would be like having a random stranger buy you something.

My kid is home :D Ordered a pizza, it's on the way. Have a few friends coming over to play board games. Hubby is out visiting his father. Today is a good day.

Luckily, I'm slowly but surely am feeling better and less congested.

I'm willing to bet that's exactly what it is. There is NOTHING better for congestion then spicy food and garlic is a cure all...at least that's what I keep telling my husband so he'll stop complaining about me using it >.>
