My PS3 and PS Vita can't stay connected at all :|

can't really say if it's my ISP or just Sony.

there is actually a wire (at least in the fat ps3's) that have to do with wifi/controller sign in etc.

that you need to have connected if you want those to work, which I found out the hard way...

Mine is the slim PS3.

I think it has something to do with my NAT setting (it is type 2 I think right now?) Not particularly sure how to set it to open so I can get uninterrupted service.

You could try to force him to get better internet. My parents had dialup until I was in like 9th grade. I told them I knocked up a punkrock middle schooler and that we were keeping it if they didn't get better internet. I dont think they believed me, but they upgraded their internet anyway.

Probably is just the protection used on the wireless. I switched mine to wpa/wpa2, and my PSP said no.

So now I have one frequency at wpa for my PSP and my other frequency at wpa2 for everything else.
