You know what's funny about that? There's this dude in my English Lit class whose notification ringtone is "Fus Ro DAH!" That always gets a chuckle out of me.

Fus Ro Dah used to be my text message notification too, but it became rather embarassing to have it randomly go off at work. So I made a Zelda theme on my phone, and now it's the simple jingle of the secret discover as found throughout the Zelda franchise.

That was mine for the longest time after I did a factory restore that made it impossible for my last one to work ("The Dude abides" from The Big Lebowski) but now I just have the chorus playing from "Bedazzled Fingernails".

Dad is Garrus saying "One less to worry about!"

Ringtone varies, I change it every once in awhile.
Generic: Kirby being invincible (Dreamland)
Dad: Otherworld (Jecht's theme from FFX)

I have yet to figure out how to give individual contacts a text massage tone identity. Mine just seems to pick one to fit the "theme" and ignores contact info/ringtones.

I have Handcent for my texts, so I'm able to customize all ringtones, backgrounds, fonts...etc

If you have an Android, definitely get it. Not sure if there is an iPhone equivalent (although I'm sure there is)

Sounds good, I'm gonna try it out.
Though it might interfere with my phone's ability to set "themes" where based on either time, location or input, it will adjust your home screen layout, wallpaper background, ringtone, and text message notifications. I simply wish my phone would let me further customize within those themes to add particular ringtones and notification sounds per contact within those themes. I can't hold my breath though, I'm using a relatively old android phone :/
