Noted.. I guess take it as a compliment that I'm completely confused.. Not that I really care one way or another but my mind has a way of making mental records of this.. I've said some pretty 'bad things' in the past to the wrong people.. So now I always have this habit of keeping note of it.

You can't piss me off so say what you will. I've said this to chuu as well, enemies or people that hate you, you can rely on. Friends and people who like you can't be. Not that I'm saying you are or aren't, more or less say how you honestly feel towards me. They are your feelings and I can't tell you one way or another it's wrong. In doing so I also learn things I can/can't trust about what you will say/do.

Really? I would assume frost dmg would ruin it's flavor.... but hey maybe you still a new culinary trend! You could be on the t.v. shows and cooking with Rachele Ray. You can be like, "IDK HOW TO COOK I JUST EAT <3333333333333333 OOH I LOVE POKEMON!!! OH I LOVE KETCHUP TOO!!!!"

I realize that, but I also try to be sensitive to other people.. I still remember this and this was years ago and he's (at least I assume) well over it, but I took my wife and a friend (who's gay) out to dinner and he's always been one of those with a knack for working it into everything and in normal company I just laugh or whatever and it doesn't bother me, but on this day there was a family sitting behind us eating, with at least 2 very young kids and he was deep throating the straw to his drink.. I told him stop you're embarrassing me (not in a playful or joking tone, I was dead serious) which I'm guessing he took to mean that I was embarrassed to be out with a gay guy.. But it wouldn't of mattered who was deep throating the straw, male or female..

Now I know that, the he could easily qualify as being overly sensitive, but at the same time, I could have been a little more sensitive and chosen my words more wisely..

I have a knack for doing things like that, so I try very hard to phrase my words more.... diplomatically? Is that the right word? Anyways, to do that, I need to know a bit about the person the words are being directed to.. It's not even really a conscious thing anymore.. I just do it.. But every once in awhile, like now, I get confused, and then conversations like these follow.

He didn't get over the straw thing for awhile, anytime he was around me I could just tell he was upset/pissed off/sad about what I said..

No those kinds of people are just HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE. He was an idiot and deserved to be told off. Plus honestly, if he was doing that he was just insecure himself, thus looking for approval or attention about his gayness. Nothing you did wrong at all, in fact, what you said was not out of line or context.

Maybe I just care more about people's feelings? I dunno.. It still bothers me.. He's literally my oldest friend (I've known him damn near 20 years now) and it wasn't like he was just trying to 'push his gayness off on people' it's just the type of thing he does when he's trying to be funny..

Inappropriate behavior is what it is. I tell my friends all the time to cut ***off when acting like tools. I expect the same from them when I do. Either way still stand on what I said about that guy. I make my jokes but it's in the situation. Ask fondue or lu... I'm not always gay but
