So I left to go take my artificial intelligence final. ofc i'm the first one there. So I sit in a chair and sip away at my coffee as I look through my notes haphazardly. The professor walks in and immediatly goes, oh this is the wrong class and she leaves. About 10 minutes later she comes back and says "I thought this was the wrong class so I had to go back and get the other exams." I immediatly facepalm because this exam was suppose to be timed and I can't stand 20 minutes taken away because the professor couldn't read the schedule properly.

So she hands out the exam and we all begin. I look through it all and continue to sip at my coffee and start on the problems that are in the middle of the test. I continue on, slowly picking at each problem giving a sufficient answer for each. Then I come across a problem that I know the answers to but I can't remember the name of the terms. So I write a long epic paragraph. Then I decided, I don't necessarily like this professor that much, so I'm going to go back through all the problems and write long paragraphs explaining my answer.

Basically every problem now has a really long paragraph, even the true false questions have a paragraph attached to it because some of them can't be deemed true or false because if you were to sit down and do the work they could be either. So I had to explain each problem. Then I look at the clock and notice I have one hour left and everyone's gone but me and this other guy. My plan was to be the last person out of the room then with only an hour left for the test a guy walks through and goes "sorry, I slept through my alarm."
The professor says "oh thats okay, another person hasn't shown up yet."

So I wait and wait and wait, just staring at the clock then back at my test constantly. Finally. 5 minutes left on the clock and everyone's gone but me. I get up and put my jacket on and turn in my test. Immediatly my professor says, WHATS THIS?!!!?! I'm like "whats wrong?" She says "There's too much writing, and its small I can't possibly read all of this."
I go, "well I'm sorry I got small handwriting, so...

Don't be surprised when points are taken off for that, I had a teacher do that to me and my friends for making the teacher do a tedious task on something that was supposed to be simple.

If she grades you badly for it, take it to the Dean and tell them. Show them the paper. If your answers were legit and not wasted space then action would be taken against that professor.

define wasted space.

I would think if the answer is just there to make you work more that in fact could be coined as wasted space.

I mean if I hated a teacher I'd do the same thing but ya gotta be careful come some of them can really be hardasses.

Well she will only be reading everything he wrote if shes dumb. Only times she should need to check it is if it reads wrong by their answer key to see if it was an explanation of an ambiguous question.

Wasted space meaning you prolonged your answer because you gave multiple explanations to an answer that didn't need them.

Giving an example and an explanation is fine. Giving 3 examples and a 2 paragraph explanation is fine if you're doing philosophy, giving an example and explaining that your buddy joe had something similar come out like this last month and how he dealt with it is not fine.

Size 10? I have a buddy who writes in size 6 font for his papers.

No one can complain about size 10 font.. Hell I write in size 8 font.

It depends on how neat the handwriting is and if it's in pencil or pen.

Pencil is hard as *** to read even at 12pt on lined paper. Plus it smudges more frequently than pen.

The standard size of handwriting I've seen is about 14 to 16pt, I think. My writing is like 18pt lol.

when I was in Middle school, I noticed my history teacher didnt bother to read the essays we would turn in.
so I would make the 1st 2 paragraphs legit, I would then write random stuff about how Batman and Superman where involved in such an event and just ramble on, and just finish off with 2 legit paragraphs.
would still get B's out of it.
he hated computers, so things needed to be handwritten
