It also helps to be a fan of the franchise and seeing it evolve from Daggerfall to what it is now. It's paraphrasing at best, but check out this video and seeing simple bits of artwork becoming living, breathing, functioning environments you can be a part of and interact with is simply awe inspiring to every fellow gamer that has a love for the RPG genre. i already watched the video about it. i dont get it lol i guess cuz ive never played any game in that franchise

I should play Oblivion before buying that. :< I loved Morrowind.

And it still looks pretty damn good to be, what, almost six years old? Oh no doubt, it's remarkable how well composed and beautiful that game is for it's time and still is today.
Which is part of the reason why I think Skyrim will really set a pinnacle standard for video games from here on out. Hell, even elements of FFXI still astound me for being nine years old; especially Chains of Promathia. Then I got a PS3 and bought it. I did the intro stage and then stepped out of that sewer into the midday light and was just wowed. Even thinking about it now gives me serious nostalgia and makes me want to start playing it again. The world was mine, and I had no idea what treasures awaited me. /fanboy rant done Yup! That's Notch's new game with Bethedsa right? Scrolls?
