That article about that teacher is just... well... absolutely beyond HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE in every literal sense of the word.

But more importantly, I'm glad I've never had to experience something as completely asanine as that except for one instance in junior high.

I had just been suspending for fighting (because we all know the little mouth-runners and their posse love to pick a fight with the new kid, especially when he's bigger than they are), and this fat cow of a Math and Humanities teacher asked me why I felt the need to fight back. Naturally the first thing that came to my mind, is that I wanted to be "left alone" and not deal with the constant bullying for one day, and she had the nerve to say (though it's true) "You are not going to be left alone for a day, with so many students interacting" like it was somehow my fault for being bullied D:
