The AC-130 is pretty awesome, but there's just something about the A10 that I'm in love with.. The sound it makes is one part, you will never mistake it for any other plane, the fact that's pretty much indestructible is another part of it (it's heavily armored, and everything has a redundant system, it can fly with the hydraulics dead, one wing, one side of the tail, and one engine) but there's something deeper to it.

I just get chills hearing the repeating "boom boom boom boom" of the 40mm, and then the KABOOOOM from the 105, lol. Sounds that would make me sh** my pants if I was on the opposing side of a battle. Kinda figures the only other person who wants to 'bond' over war planes would be from Texas <.<
