I like episode 4 of Strange New Worlds and all but the critic brain in me can see the seams of the writing. This wasn't supposed to be the 4th episode of the season, they just did one reshoot to handwave away the major event in episode 3 and continued on like nothing happened. And they straight up ignored the other major event of episode 3. Not quite sure why they did this yet, maybe the rest of the season will provide a better explanation. But in general, this seldom works.

Dang, im 30 chapters to catching up with the latest Rent a Girlfriend release, and dang… this last 100 chapters were the most awkward manga arc I ever seem.

It ahould be probably something unique in manga history how a mangaka had the balls to make the most dragged and boring 100 chapters in human history.

Just as a reference, the last 100 chapters lasted in the story time about 1 month.

Just think, you had like three chapters for each passing day in the story.

And it was not like the month portraited in the story was an exciting one. No at all.

It was one of the most uneventful month in the entire story.

Now just think a mangaka pick the most dull month in the story, and write 3 chapter for each boring day.

Idk, maybe Im seeing something that transcends my limited comprehension. I cant help but feel genuinely impressed by how, in an industry extremelly competitive like the mangas in japan, the mangaka simply decided to burn 100 chapters for one of the most uneventful, dullest, boring arc ever made.

I dont even feel hate. I just feel the urge to give this guy a congratulation. I started this expecting the worse, but this guy managed to deliver the worse, but one worse I wasnt expectecting, or even prepared for

I started this expecting the story would discuss prostitution, women objectification, hyper sexualization in our current time, incels, the psychological dramas due to such expositive job

But no.

The story was only famous because it is another level of boring.

If you want exciting there is always politics. I would prefer boring.
