What have i been watching lately?…

X-Men 97 is taking big swings, that's for sure.

It could be worse.

Some journalists here in the USofA made a new Utube account from a new interweb account through an ISP none of them had ever used and then searched porn.

They then followed Utube's recommendations and after a small number of links, I forget, like between 10 & 20, the recommendations were to child porn.

TLDR: It ain't you, its the algorithm.

No, it was me.

I just noticed I had started to watch a video called "Photos with disturbing background".

It was a video talking about 2 cases of photos apparently normal, but that depicted persons that had a tragic fate.

One of them was the case of a violent ex-husband that was harassing the ex-wife, and ended killing himself and his ex-mother-in-law in the process. The photo was him with the ex-mother-in-law, apparently smiling to the camera.

The second case was about Lysa Holm. Probably a more known one.

I'm still not even Captain rank yet. I keep telling myself that if I just knock out one or two missions per day, I'll be done before I know it. But I just can't even work up the desire to do that. Failing Lebros Supplies by only about 10 metres really did a number on my morale.

Right at the end it gave me six 1-point items in a row, then just to toy with me, gave me a Stewpot when I was down to the last point on the last person. And then it booted me out as I went to click on the Rune of Release.

Now my brain associates the thought of doing Assault with that gut-wrenching feeling. I don't know if I'll ever get my Tizona.

That assault is rough to do solo.

That and the mining orichalcum one.

Today is my Birthday.

Imagine needing waifu's to feel motivated. Clearly husbando's are better.

Our D&D campaign is seeing our characters participate in a large-scale battle. The DM suggested each of our characters lead a squad of NPCs, which I suggested could be played by the other players when it isn't their "turn". A great idea I thought, until I had to sit down and come up with three throwaway characters.

I'm too empathetic towards my characters in any game, so trying to find the perfect balance between someone that I care enough about playing but not so much that I'll be heartbroken if they die was a challenge in itself.

I had kinda forgotten how much I don't like 5th Edition, but this whole process reminded me of it. Coming up with a character is easy in any game. Trimming the edges to cram them into the confining rules of 5e, and then having to copy over the dozens and dozens of rules from the books to a character sheet harkened me back to high school homework. It's not so noticeable when you're making one 1st-level character, but making three 10th-level characters in one sitting felt like a nightmare x_x

So now Dune is getting a prequel tv series on HBO it's already only like 4 months out.

Huh, neat. I guess I'll check it out. Need something for my DMC fix since we're gonna be waiting forver for 6 lol.
