Just started Drakengard 2 (need to fix my emulation though, its showing lines in the screen).

Last random though about the first installment though. One thing I liked in the story flow is that it feels like some multiverse story, with each ending meaning a different choice at some point leading to different outcome.

Funny thing is that there is no route that lead to the horny princess surviving in the end.

It reminds me of another story I dont remember the name, but it was about a MC that had some power to either get back in time or jump to another multiverse. That MC had some of his love interest dying, and desperately used his power to jump to a route where she had survived.

But despite the effort, every single route he tried, the outcome was the same, and the girl always died at some point, for multiple reasons.

I would really like to remember what is that story but it showcase the tematic of humankind being arrogant thinking just because he could skip to another dimension that he would have an upper hand over nature. Nothing further from the truth. Nature decided she was to die, and no matter what, that was her destiny despite MC struggling like no end to change that.

Funny though, the canon ending is the one who has a big paradox.

I read one similar to that in Fritz Leiber's change war stories.

Except the protagonist was trying to stop his own murder. After a number of attempts he finally manages to not get himself shot, watches himself go to the patio, look up, and get killed by a micrometor hitting right where the bullet had.

Also got his weapon to 7*, Lucia's new weapon to 6*, and a copy of Cloud's Maritime Sword! So nice that even seasonal weapons aren't limited; it makes it much easier to save up for later banners.
Now to start the grind to getting Sephiroth up to par with my main team. @_@;
