Maybe its time to quit watching all together, but some part of me feels maybe I'd miss it.
I thought I'd miss it, but I don't. I feel free. Especially since
most of them are bad now, I don't feel obligated to spend precious free time watching every show and every movie and keeping up with every silly detail. Not to mention the monetary savings.
It's like when I decided to stop playing Mobile games, because I found myself logging in every day for daily login bonuses and daily chores. I wasn't even enjoying the games, it was just: "well, I'd better log in for half an hour and do all of the stuff so I don't miss out today. After all, it's only half an hour"
Some movies like the Resident Evil ones were fun to watch even tho they were objectively bad, these are mostly just bad though.
That's because there's a difference between bland and bad. A bad movie (or game) can be entertaining in its own way, especially if it's taking itself completely seriously. The problem with the MCU now is that nothing has an identity. There's no jokes, just witty one-liners. And all of the characters are the same witty, smarmy hero with one flaw to try and humanize them.
