Random Thoughts.....What Are You Thinking?

1. Lack of surprising moments. Everything working as expected in the movie
2. Too much time spent on the old characters. I mean, im really done with Neo and Trinity. It was annoying their clingy relationship even back at reloaded, now when both are much older it feels even less appealing. Imo, the good part of this movie were when the movie followed Bugs and (New) Morpheus, it was still interesting at Neo struggles but after that kinda felt the movie entered on auto pilot.
3. Too much time spent on the old movies. It felt very little actually happened in this movie. I could resume the story in two lines, and i wouldnt miss too much.
4. Lack of philosophical content. Analyst isnt anywhere near the Architect, even though participating in the move like three time more than his antecessor.
5. Lack of some sort of mysticism. This is a direct impact of keeping old protagonists as protagonists. There isnt any prophecy neither vident this time. All choices are too obvious.
6. Some violent scenes were kinda unnecessary imo. It isnt nice seeing people being shot by machine guns while in the ground. But then it gets disgusting the people jumping from buildings just to hit the protagonists. Terrible scene, im not sure how someone could give that idea, neither how this idea went to the final product.
All in all, for a moment i expected Neo and Trinity wouldnt make to the end so the road could be clear for the new characters to take the lead. Instead, some “happy ending” that adds very little to what Matrix is about

for some reason every movie has to have some weird massive cgi swarm or army these days. it's really *** stupid. i blame the mcu.
