On the madden game on the left... $30 off does not take $59.99 to $53.99. On the Naruto game on the right... $81.00 off of $89.99 seems like more than the "Save up to 67%" mentioned at the top.

Does anybody remember way back when Blue Mage was added and of all the new spells added at the time, "Helldive" alphabetically overtook "Hello" in the auto-translator and made the simple greeting just that much more difficult to type?

And yet Helldive wound up being one of those spells that almost never got used ever lol

I was hyped all day for res and free popcorn.

I get here and they're not doing the free pop because "reasons" ***.

I have plans on visiting my father this weekend. He lives in another town. To get there, i need to go by bus. But everything is planned and the tickets purchased.

The thing is, last week and exactly right now i had two weird nightmares involving falls and deaths. The first one was indeed a bus falling with me inside. The second one that happened right now was kinda a movie-like where two acquitances trip in something and fall in a huge cliff. Also yesterday i received a gore video on zapzap of a biker being ran over by a buss smashing his lower half.

Well thing is, the travel is scheduled to this next friday and the return on sunday. If i have a third nightmare, im totally calling off all this travelling.

If i dont post anything past this weekend, well, see you guys in the other side, i guess?

I mean, its not like i have any fear of death. Tbf i do have fear of gory deaths yeah, but all this pandemics made me come in terms with death so its not like i see it as the end. If you think about, there are so many mysteries that human being dont even bother explaining/understanding anymore, and passing away is the greatest answer to all that.

That said i have one regret of not having kids though. Because there is just one single objective humanity gives to all of its species, and thats bringing the next generation to maintain the species existence. Its not a hard objective but i feel like so far im a failure as a human being to not helping the species.

Anyway, enough of weird RT, and lemme try sleeping the rest of night (still 2 am here, i ended waking up because of that nightmare)

Well, i found a solution to this conflict.

To get to my fathers town, there are two routes. The one that goes around the coast thats kinda dangerous, and the other one thats safer but involves going down a cliff and which there is the higher chance of “falling”.

My original plan was going through the safer route. I guess i will take the coastal one now. No deaths by falling now.

RE fans are gonna *** hate this reboot. I got a free ticket and I still want my money back.

It's got some stuff but they really did it dirty. 1 star. Maybe half a star.

I mean, they hit all the points, a ton of the cinematics were there but it just wasn't done well at all. And crazy rushed.

I just discovered that my Music Theory professor for 5 semesters straight from 1997-2000, a holocaust survivor, celebrated his 95th birthday today. We haven't spoken since 2004 (just distance, no drama), so it really just warmed my heart to know this brilliant man is still with us.

First two episodes of Hawkeye are great, Hailee Steinfeld is a welcome addition to the MCU. She is going to be a lot of fun.

The best part about being a WHM main for over a decade is that it's basically all on you to get content cleared. All the derpy party members that full time TP/WS sets and never switch to -DT when things start going south? Yep. It's because you're that good of a WHM that you get the clear anyway. No party members brought meds of their own? Yep. On you. Drunken irl people playing. Yep. You need to carry them. The reward for doing the healing is that the event gets done. That has been my experience anyway.

I heard that...

I've noticed that one of my biggest pet peeves is when someone sends a professional email wherein the words don't form a coherent idea, or in some other way doesn't make any sense at all. And I don't want to call them out on it because I feel like a grammar nazi. But the truth is, I don't care if it isn't perfect spelling or grammar. If I can glean what they're trying to convey, then whatever goes. Language is cool like that.

There's a thing where people do it just to troll people. It's using proper English spelling, and from one word to the next, the grammer is decidedly correct. But the actual sentence and paragraph don't convey a proper idea. An example quoted from Reddit:

"You've got to be kidding me. I've been further even more decided to use even go need to do look more as anyone can. Can you really be far even as decided half as much to use go wish for that? My guess is that when one really been far even as decided once to use even go want, it is then that he has really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like. It's just common sense."

It breaks my brain. But this is essentially the kind of text I received from a building inspector in a serious conversation about a project under construction. It's like someone was eating his brain with a spoon when he was typing it. But how do I reply to it to ask him to clarify without sounding like a jerk?

Thankfully it doesn't happen often, but I can point to four occasions in the last 6 months where I've received professional correspondence just like it.
