I created the character Jessie in 2006, after they announced Treasures of Aht Urhgan and showed Corsair. I really, really wanted to make a Corsair, and I thought "It uses guns, Mithra are fun with ranged weapons". In preparation, I started leveling Thief en route to Ranger so I could get a head start on Marksmanship. Turned out I loved Thief so much that I never even played Corsair when it came out. Then I fell in love with Blue Mage instead. Still never gave Corsair a chance.
Today I finished leveling Ranger to Lv.99. After almost 16 years, I'm finally going to give Corsair a try XD I'm actually really, really excited. But I'm also probably not going to be able to play again until Monday...

It just sucks that after the merge into Ragnarok I lost my dang name. My alt character and mules all had to be renamed, too.
Comic con was kinda neat, a lot of cool figures and big statues.

It would be nice if they did an inactive account name purge a few times during this game's life. I know Blacklist, Friendlist, and banned characters kind of bork that idea, but I'm sure a lot of good names were taken long ago by people that quit ages ago. Sorry for your loss. I lost several of mine when Kujata was forced to merge with Valefor. Still kind of angry they did that because look at how it is now. Empty dead servers are now the norm with under like maybe 500 (?) players on any of the "dead" servers. Who knows how many of those are multi-account players, RMT, or bots. Kind of makes the server merges pointless since all it did was nuke names in the end. Are trees mammals?
