The biggest exclusives on the Xbox one ended up being Halo 5, gears 4 and 5, and forza whatever. That's why they lost so much of the market share to Sony.

Why do people buy a games console anyway, the games are more expensive, you have to pay for online play (wtf?), you almost never get sales and the hardware sucks. Also Microsoft are terrible, I still remember their total own goal from the TVBOX fiasco last gen.
You can make an argument about exclusives but once you start on that path, you'll be buying all the consoles. I stopped buying consoles years ago, I have more games from Steam sales than I'll ever get around to play in my library without worrying about the few I can't play on consoles. Most modern non Japanese made games are total *** anyway tbh.

It's hard for anyone to be totally unbiased these days (the media on all sides fans everyone into that mindset), as such all that was happening is a portion of the userbase of the site was starting to really hate the mods and the other portion of the posters there. I always thought the mods on P&R were quite fair.
Not that the posters there were fair to the mods or anything. It doesn't matter if they are or not, the belief among many was that they are biased.
On a "smaller" fansite like this, that's a bad thing. The reason it's bad is cause some regulars will leave or be banned (when they get annoyed at perceived injustice and then act in a way that does get them banned), the people running the site will see drama and arguing against them and no longer want to keep coming here to update / interact with the community / mod or do whatever they do, and it will create a combative environment. People (some) who argue against each other in P&R won't leave it in there, they will act the same to those people everywhere else too. My gang : not my gang

Consoles are for gaming PC is for filling in the things you're missing in your ego/life etc. $2000 graphics card to play halo, when I'd rather play pikmin in a $100 gamecube. Not everyone needs the same ego strokes. (compensating) Some people NEED 4k 120 FPS RGB ... and some people want to play a game that looks like it was drawn with a crayon. Both are happy, and companies want money from both. |
