Thanks I guess. I'm probably not going to message someone I've never spoken to before though. lol

OTTAWA—Native Canadian Liam Tremblay recently announced that his preferred pronoun is "eh." The announcement came in the form of his updated Twitter profile that read, "I'm Liam. I like hiking and my dog, Fossy. I also like syrup. Eh/eh."


Tremblay says he has had no trouble getting others to use his preferred pronoun. "Everybody is pretty nifty about using my pronoun there," he told reporters. "Even that Jordan Peterson guy was real nice about it. He's supposed to be the guy who doesn't use people's pronouns or whatever but not for me. I didn't even have to tell him."

Liam says the only time he has had trouble getting people to respect his preferred pronoun is when he took a short trip to the United States. "People are calling me 'he' and I'm like 'eh' and they say 'he' and I just keep saying 'eh' and all they do is laugh at me," Tremblay reported in a blog post from New York. "Absolute bigotry down in the states, eh?"

Tremblay cut his trip short and returned home. "I prefer to live where my pronoun is respected. And where there are majestic yaks. And hockey."
