Random Thoughts.....What Are You Thinking?

They just spent too much time on Smash, it consumed the last half of their showing and then straight into a Treehouse focusing on the same game. I know its a big game for them, but I was really looking forward to a N64 mini announcement, still not even sure it exists but I would have liked some hint about it.

god forbid nintendo doesn't remake the same game 20 times on 7 different consoles like your precious bethesda does

Yea we need 100 more Zelda and Mario remakes...just for good measure.

That's why their stock went down so much right? They showed off a few things, but it was easy to tell the whole attitude was "hurry up and get off the stage for Smash."

I'm a fan of Zelda don't get me wrong but. They have milked that franchise so much...you would think Zelda would be in a retirement home.

Game companies very rarely create new IP they rely too much on remakes and sequels and things that sell.

I learned that lesson with Wii. Zelda was great then it was a bunch of filler. Nintendo doesn't attract nearly enough third party games for me to be interested.

Its gonna be impossible for the Switch to have as good a year as 2017 but they needed to at least touch on a few things before running off the stage. Their paid online service launches in September, how about some more info? Metroid Prime 4 update? They basically phoned it in this year, which is fine I mean, you can't win every year, and it seems like the year Rockstar North is releasing a game would be a good year to take off.

The streamer I was watching restream E3 was pretty estatic about most of the Nintendo stuff.

Really the only Bethesda stuff that excited me was Todd "The Godd" Howard and the mention of TESVI.

was talking about the switch with a friend, and seems it has a an interesting decent game lineup for the rest of the year (with actual dates)..

-Mario Tennis (actual content and not a barebone cashgrab like last one)
-Pokemon games
-Captain Toad
-Smash
-Mario Party
-Starlink

while yes, they did spend a lot of time with Smash, it was fast paced and fun.
but I guess I would be annoyed too, if they had a presentation oabout "NFL FIFA Sport Racing Battlefield of Duty Dance Party 24"

Having a negative view on Nintendo, and expecting them to have the best game show, doesn't make sense, especially since they stopped doing live presentations. The Quality of E3 has fallen, and not because of this, but rather, companies are not going all out, revealing all their cards on this show anymore (especially overseas companies) and saving them for other shows.
