Why'd my goofy old aunt go and mention that? Last night in North Haven, CT, a barn exploded with a dude inside it. This morning, Channel 8 news was parked in the North Haven Chick-fil-a parking lot. WHY THE *** did she mention my favorite place to eat?
I'd say get a better taste in food?

Most people don’t know that back in 1912, Hellmann’s mayonnaise was manufactured in England. In fact, the Titanic was carrying 12,000 jars of the condiment scheduled for delivery in Vera Cruz, Mexico, which was to be the next port of call for the great ship after its stop in New York.
This would have been the largest single shipment of mayonnaise ever delivered to Mexico. But as we know, the great ship did not make it to New York. The ship hit an iceberg and sank, and the cargo was forever lost.
The people of Mexico, who were crazy about mayonnaise, and were eagerly awaiting its delivery, were disconsolate at the loss. Their anguish was so great, that they declared a National Day of Mourning, which they still observe to this day.
The National Day of Mourning occurs each year on May 5th and is known, of course, as Sinko de Mayo.

Fun fact: In Skyrim, Nazeem and his wife carry a key to a cut location called Wintersand Manor. There's also a Kynareth acolyte who carries a third key to the same place, and if you steal from or kill that acolyte, Nazeem's wife will send thugs after you. Supposedly this was part of a cut quest where Nazeem hires you as an assassin the kill the acolyte his wife was cheating on him with. Nazeem's wife will hate you if you kill him, even though she hates him.

D: So my computer was having some issues and I went out to a computer store that I dealt with all the time.
Got a good deal on a IBM Thinkpad, i5, $170 with SSD hard drive.
I maybe could of found something cheaper online but I dealt with this guy for over 20 years and he's a really good guy.
I have to transfer mass amount of stuff to my newer computer and then convert this to a Linux laptop, a i5 linux computer...this will be interesting...
Korora XGL was pretty cool when it came out. Project Osx86 was even cooler because, you know, no official support from Intel at the time. This was 2005 or so, after being PC for so long before and after that I've noticed there are only sacrifices you have to make to be able to stick with it long term.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
