You can still buy an
Atari nowadays. Though the quality is questionable. There is also a Sega Genesis one and the over priced NES/SNES Classic.
Generally the emulation on those offtheshelf systems like that are incredibly poor. That being said, the NES/SNES classic isn't really overpriced, my only real beef with them is the inability to expand and also use the library on the eshop.
I just have a hacked wii with emulators, eventually I'll have my wiiu, and maybe my switch. Especially with the controller from the SNES mini, yeah boi!
That being said, one can just do the same with a F310 and a PC, or you can get crazy and get actual carts and these:

but to each their own, I know a guy with the NTs and a good flashcart, even has another cart with a zif socket installed so he can burn his own roms and play on hardware, he did that with StarFox 2 before the SNES mini official release.
