yesterday last night i decided to enrage myself by wall mounting a huge monitor solo. was an absolute pain, but nerdcave looks pretty good. i need some longer displayport cables though so i can have the open part of the pc facing out.

I wall mounted an 88lb monitor solo the other week. Height and angle of bracket lock mechanism made it quite possibly the heaviest 88lbs ever.

thanks. i thought it would be a dust trap, which it almost is, but i also have an air compressor. plus it stays super cool.

you're 100% right. you think nothing of the weight, until you're holding it at some god awful angle for 25 mins trying to make sure it's straight. the bad thing about mounting this was that it's not like two parts that you put on the wall, put on the back of the tv, and then set together. you had to actually connect the whole arm and everything to the monitor and then screw that into the wall. so the you're trying to screw in side a, and side b is where all the weight is on a moving arm @.@.

I thought that little guy looked familiar. Their noses are finer tuned than a dog's and they're equally as smart.
