I don't recall seeing Onyx Power Armor, the Prey/Doom shitty costumes, or anything else around my game this weekend...

Nah, they're preloading all of the Creation Club in updates.

They'll change that quickly enough I suspect?

That's really, really dumb.

Or someone will figure out a way to nix it I bet.

I dunno, it's optional in some respects but I'm not a fan of forcing 2GB updates on me.

I'm not a fan of the move.

I think it's a stupid move.

But it's also their game and their choice to try to hit people up for money.

It's lame, but...eh.

It's a rough situation. I can't blame someone for trying to get all the money they can out of their product. But when it starts to really turn off your long-time audience...

Look at poor Mass Effect: Andromeda.* It wasn't even a bad game. It just didn't meet the franchise's expectations. And it hurt them. You can see why they try to choke whatever money they can out of a thing.

Bethesda has never been good at doing that in the cleanest way possible though. Not even the sainted New Vegas, which was Obsidian, everyone's favorite circle-jerk.

*For the record, I'm a fan and I liked PB a lot.
