Holy ***all of these mosquito bites are driving me crazy. I rarely see any mosquitos yet I have 4 on my arm, 3 on one foot, 2 on the other, some on my legs. Most are just constantly itchy. All of them are welts. /Angry

I remember being in the 6th grade, there was some kid who had a purple lunchbox and he always had like 3-4 issues of playboy for sale in it.
If you ever saw some kids huddled in a circle near the corner of the building, some business was going down.
Oh the memories and to be a kid again lol.
RIP you legend.

Stopped at a properly lit Walmart, still scary as ***. Know what'd be fun? Go into Walmart at 3 in the morning. Buy a bunch of bananas, a length of rope, and a tube of KY Jelly. Just to freak the late night cashiers out.
Wouldn't even crack their top 10.
Especially if it's the night cashiers.
You clearly have never done this, or you'd know how weird the night cashiers themselves are, let alone the *** oddballs that go to Walmart at 3:00 a.m. on the regular.

It will get some of the old ladies who go to Church every day and get flustered when you buy condoms. But they're normally gone for the day by 2-3 so they can get the early bird special at Bob Evans.

You know, I have to admire those who can take their passions and convert that drive into making a career out of whatever it is they truly enjoy and wish to do for the rest of their lives.
From my point of view and experience, I always much preferred the 'work to live' scenario more so than the 'live to work' lifestyle. And while the saying "If you do what you love, then you'll never work another day in your life" may be relatively true, I can't help but see time and repetition inevitably suck the joy out of what was initially a point of fun and passion. I think maybe we need the monotonous, repetitive, stressful *** of a job we don't particularly care for in order to gain insight and truly appreciate our free time and what we do with it. If it was part of your work to begin with, then what?
Anyways, that's my random thought for the day. Would love to see what you all think about that.

What we need is to stop being so materialistic and start having our "wants" and "needs" be a little more in the same ballpark, not two separate countries with a vast ocean between them.
Unfortunately, if that were to happen our entire economy would fall apart.
And let's be honest. Video games are just too much fun.

Aye. Unfortunately I don't think smoking dope and listening to music all day constitutes as being a productive member of society worthy of monetary gain and livelihood. But damn it, if it was, that'd totally be my shtick.
Though, being a good writer is one way of having the former apply and still having one's cake and eating it too, so to speak.
Edit: I have a sudden urge to watch The Perks of Being a Wallflower again.

As is any creative pursuit for which you manage to get paid.
To a point.
It's also a good way to pull your hair out in frustration and to potentially worry whether or not you'll be making your next rent payment in time.

Yeah... I think I'll stick to corporate *** to avoid the whole starving artist tightrope walk.
I think success in that field is more attributed to luck of marketable trends more so than your willpower and drive to produce. Reminds me a lot of this:

What we need is to stop being so materialistic *looks at Ramy's game stash* *scoffs at it and shows off mine*
My *** collection is bigger than yours!
and don't you dare take away the strike code! I'm looking at you Kojo!
start having our "wants" and "needs" be a little more in the same ballpark That's...um....being materialistic.
Problem with humans, we sometimes can't tell the difference between what we want and what we need
Now if you excuse me, I see Helen over there in Troy winking at me. Time to start a war.

"Luck is when preparation meets opportunity."
As the old adage goes.
That's...um....being materialistic.
I said stop being so materialistic. Not lose all desire for innovation and self-improvement.
That said, it probably would require a few less iphones. And I don't see that happening.

This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
